Thank God for the sabbath day !!!

It's been a great week , fun and fulfilling, but it's nice rest today... As much as my mountain of laundry will allow me to rest anyway. The Relay for Life cancer benefit in Jacksonville last weekend went very well. It's always a blast workin' with TNT and the Dynamite Cowboys. This weekend, however, was a benefit for active duty militarys' families. Lori Frankie called me up and asked me to come out and lend a hand. She always puts on a good show. Thanks to everyone who came out for the donations to a really worthy cause,and her fans for the warm welcome. The weekend wasn't over though. If you keep up with the appearance page, you might have noticed a private party booked for Saturday the 18th. To all invited , it appeared to be a welcome home bash for my buddy Ken, who's home after serving in Iraq and Kuwait for over a year. Little did they know , they arrived yesterday to a ceremony where Ken and Lora (after 19 years of marriage) renewed there wedding vows. It was an honor for me to be asked to perform at such an occasion. Besides my solo, I got to do harmony on a duet with Tammy. It was a lot of fun. I hope all is well with you. God Bless Chris
