No Pain, No Gain .....

It seems like the perfect title to my CD , to be finished by July, Lord willing. My producer was kind of concerned about the number of ballads as opposed to rockin' songs on the project. Initially I agreed, but stuck to my guns. I feel really strongly about some of the issues covered in the ballads. And though they are few, the songs that rock, are sounding really cool thus far. The musicians down here are phenomenal. The feeling inside the booth today was unexplainable. I'm so excited, and so look forward to performing these , to get some feedback from you all. I'll be recording some of the real vocals tomorrow, and doing some of the background harmonies too. Friday , I head to Bemont Opry up around Springfield , IL for an appearance. Then, we're off to Jacksonville for worship services I'll sing at on Saturday night and Sunday morn. I'm looking forward to workin with some of the Dynamite Cowboys at those church appearances. I miss everyone back home, Uncle Fred ... get well. This has been one of the most thrilling parts of the rollercoaster, I'm sorry you couldn't be here . I hope all is well with you . Lisa and Brian , I'm thinkin bout you all and Austin , will be prayin' for ya. Ron and Cindy, hope your anniversary was great. Everyone else, thanks for checking in and for your support. God Bless Chris
