So much to say, so little time...
Hello all , thanks for stopping in . It's been a while since I've written . We've been busy as always and I've had computer issues for over a week now . Lord willing , the latter is fixed now . As some of you may have heard we made a surprise visit to the Ole Red Barn on March 3d . Thanks for the warm welcome. It was a lot of fun. The next day was the Mclean Opry benefit. It's always a good time working with fellow ICMA members. Thanks to all who came out and supported a good cause. I left the show with homemade apple pie and german chocolate cake. I can't think of a better way to end a show. Those in attendence that day got a sneak peak / listen to new song God gave me in November of last year , it will most likely be on my next CD. Rick Roy and the band did a beautiful rendition of it to back me .
I've been extremely blessed in the past week. If you hadn't heard yet , "The Rest" got airplay 3 times last week on 93.7 The Bull . This is a major market country station out of St. Louis with gobs of listeners. It won me the New Song Hometown Showdown . Thanks to all of you for your ongoing support, for tuning in and dialing your fingers off to get through to vote. Also thanks to those of you that tuned in online and voted there. I am so blessed to have your support.
I am gearing up for a return trip to Nashville to record and possibly Kentucky to perform . Please keep our trip in your prayers , also my friend Ashlee is away in New Orleans on a mission trip.. she could use your prayers also.
I am so ready for springtime ... Cardinal baseball and bass fishing : )
Looking forward to my first round at the opries . I hope to see ya there.
God Bless Chris
