I miss you guys...

I was so looking forward to kicking off my 2008 schedule by taking the stage tonight at New Salem Opry. Due to frigid temps, Doris and the crew cancelled the show. I've been on vacation this week and hoped to put icing on the cake by performing tonight , to finish off a pretty cool week. (pardon the pun on cool) Anyway , I wrote a new song this week that we're really excited about . Hope to see you all in Bement coming up Lord willing. Hello all, I hope your Christmas and rest of your holiday season was great. I was very blessed in mine, and got some well needed rest too. As I look back at 2007, it was a pretty amazing year, with the ICMA awards, the tv and radio stuff. Thanks to you all for believing in my dream and helping to make it possible. I don't know where each of you are in your lives, as we begin the new year. God rains down on the just and the unjust. I attended a funeral within the last couple of weeks , then a couple of days later heard of a friend who lost a parent the same week. Whether you are at the top of a mountain and things are going pretty cool for ya right now, or you are at the foot of a mountain (looking up) that seems impossible to get over, God wants to help you, and for you to have life abundantly. The same God that allows rain and pain at times , also makes the sun to shine again , at times blindingly bright with blessings . I pray that 2008 is full of blessings for you and that God speaks to each of you and that you may recognize that voice. If you've kept up with my schedule you noticed I wasn't quite as busy inthe 2nd half of '07. Tammy is working to start '08 off strong and by God's grace my schedule is building, falling for the most part around my almost unpredictable work schedule. I miss you all.
